“Amazing hosts and a tranquil place that one wants to come back to”
I can’t find words to describe how wonderful our stay was, how warm and hospitable Virginie and Jean‑Paul are. If you’re wondering whether there’s a perfect, peaceful, friendly place to stay, come and spend a few nights at Chambres d’hôtes Ferme LAPINE. This stay proved that an accommodation is not about amenities (which were perfect) but about people and hospitality. When we arrived, the hosts were waiting and greeted us like old friends; we instantly felt welcome. The room and the bathroom (all tiled) were incredibly clean, and the electric adjustable beds were extremely comfortable. Because the property is far from other buildings, it’s very quiet at night and day, so we slept well. In the morning there’s breakfast, and what a breakfast it is! You can taste local products, even sheep cheese and yogurt made on the farm by Jean‑Paul, and a homemade cake baked by Virginie, plus homemade jams—delicious! Since there are only 3‑4 rooms, breakfast is a morning gathering at one big table where you can chat with other guests and the hosts. It feels like a family meeting rather than a hotel breakfast. There are plenty of tourist attractions nearby for adults and children, and you could also stroll to the village, stay at the farm or with the host to visit sheep at their summer pasture, which we didn’t do because we only stayed two nights :( So, if you’re still reading this review and wondering whether to book at Chambres d’hôtes Ferme LAPINE, don’t hesitate—just do it! We hope one day our paths will cross again at this wonderful place with such lovely hosts. Thank you again Virginie and Jean‑Paul for the warm welcome; next time I’ll learn more French so we can talk more :) All the best from Marlena, Slawomir and two cats :)
