The spot’s spot‑on for NAU, and the evening reception was solid. But the building’s still under construction, so the room we got was a nightmare—door barely opened without a lot of force, cabinets busted, a huge hole in the bathroom wall, everything looked dingy and unclean, and the shower was clogged with hair from a previous guest.

Embassy Suites always feels like a good stay wherever it is. The breakfast was great, the room was comfy, and the happy hour was a highlight. The only downside was the TV lineup; Paramount was missing from the options.

The rate was reasonable. Unfortunately, nobody cleaned our room, so we had to request extra towels. Breakfast could use a boost, and the waffle makers need replacement.

The spot was great, but the beds were terrible, the carpet smelled bad, the cupboards were almost falling off their hinges, a closet handle broke off my hand, and the pool was closed—overall it felt run down and barely holding together.
