I loved everything – the cottage sits at the foot of a stunning mountain, waking up to that view was amazing, and the patio overlooks a gorgeous valley; the place feels magical, probably because the owner pours her heart into it, and the birds even sing and dance for guests. The cottage was fully equipped and even had a romantic fireplace, tastefully decorated to match the natural surroundings. The real highlight was discovering soulful treasures while hiking up the mountain – definitely worth the trip. The only tweak that could improve the experience is making the road a bit more accessible for smaller vehicles; the bumpy drive was fine since I was aiming for an off‑grid vibe.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the host even followed up with us before we arrived, which we appreciated. The place is quiet and perfect for a break from city life, and the 2.5 km hike added to the overall nature retreat experience while giving us a nice chance to enjoy the scenery.

The mountain, the labyrinth, and the birds were all fantastic.

The surroundings were very peaceful and beautiful, with only birdsong breaking the silence and trees all around. The mountain walk was lovely and offered great views. I felt the price was a bit steep for a self‑catering stay with no extras; the cottage was comfortable, but the couches were old with broken springs.
