The owner was nice, but I had to climb three flights of stairs with almost no handrails and very uneven steps—dangerous for a 71‑year‑old. I was basically stuck up there all day with no windows and no desk. I chose that floor because of loud music in their bar. Prices are higher around there, but I had no interest in what was walking around in the streets. Many Pakistani and Indian restaurants and people in this area. I like that food. No windows, etc.

This hotel is a total letdown. The room and bathroom are extremely tiny, making it really difficult to shower. Basic amenities like soap are not provided at all. There’s a bad odor in the room, and I even noticed yellow stains on the bed sheets. The air conditioner doesn’t cool at all. This place is only suitable for a sex‑room use and is not recommended for a proper stay.

You have an endless selection of places to eat and entertain nearby. The room smelled damp and the bathroom door mat was torn. The hotel feels a bit spooky and old. Next to it is a funeral home ⚱️, which makes the place even more chilling. For one day, if you’re just passing through it’s fine, but not for longer stays.

A budget escape that works, but the building sits atop a lively bar, so ask for a room on an upper floor. The rooms come with a fridge, a fan, and aircon and are a decent size. The hotel is right at the end of the main promenade, not near any major sights, though there are plenty of grab‑and‑go options nearby.
