The staff were really warm and helpful, and the hotel looked beautiful in the winter – I can only imagine how great it is in summer. The only downside was the room heating; it struggled a bit when the cold front rolled in. Overall a pleasant stay if you don’t mind bundling up.

The patio with the pool offered a calm spot to take in the mountains. The whole property was clean and tidy, and Rocío’s recommendations for the lake and nearby hills were spot‑on. I’m already planning a return visit.

The hostel sits in a perfect spot, offers good value for the price, and the pool area gives a lovely view while the common rooms feel comfortable. The only real drawback is the limited bathroom facilities – just two showers and two tiny toilets for all the women, which gets cramped when the place is busy. Otherwise, a solid choice.
