“Un hotelito con encanto.”

The host, Carlos, and the facilities were great. The old house turned into a little hotel, full of charm and comforts like a shared kitchen. Carlos was very friendly and attentive. The only downside was the lack of parking, though there was some street space available.

The place felt like a home away from home—calm, relaxed, safe, and cozy, with a clear sense of care in every detail. Cooking and meal prep were a breeze, and everything you could need was there. Carlos was an amazing host, kind, caring, and always ready to help, going above and beyond to keep you comfortable and relaxed. He shared great local restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and boat schedules, making me feel like a local and uncovering hidden gems. I’d highly recommend this guest house for exploring Figueira da Foz and the nearby areas, with beautiful beaches, a lovely town, good food, and great hosts. Meeting people from around the world in the kitchen and hearing their stories was a highlight. Thanks a ton to Carlos and his lovely cleaner for making my stay special.

The location was excellent. Check‑in was flexible and could be moved up on short notice—thanks, Carlos! He gave solid tips for breakfast and the ferry to the GB Festival. The only issue was the water container was empty and wasn’t refilled even though it was announced.
