Lovely to have a freshly prepared breakfast rather than buffet

The location, the overall British vibe, the peace, and the nature… all great.

Good location, warm welcome, a spacious room overlooking the river, a tasty breakfast, and excellent service during Sunday breakfast. However, a few service hiccups: we received the wrong meals at the bar, the room was never cleaned (we had to ask reception for clean cups and toiletries), the pillows were flat and lumpy, and the curtains were dusty.

The location was ideal for exploring Exmoor, and every staff member at the hotel was friendly and welcoming.
