“Beautiful setting, relaxed vibe”
We stayed in bungalow number 5, close to the reception yet hidden among a lovely garden. The rooms were tidy and roomy with big, comfy beds, and the bathrooms and showers were fine. A short rainforest trail and a small plantation were both nice to wander. Hummingbird feeders near the reception were well tended, and we enjoyed watching the birds. The site was secure, accessed via keypad gates, and we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere in the well-kept gardens. The units were self‑catering, though breakfast could be added for an extra fee. We thought $12 per person was a bit steep, so we self‑catered for breakfast. For other meals we ate out because we felt there weren’t enough cooking utensils, like pots and pans, even though we didn’t ask for more and might have received them if needed. No air‑conditioning was present, but at the higher altitude we didn’t need it. Overall, everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay.
