“Bien pour y dormir sans plus”
Comfortable beds, AC, very central to Hongdae. Mold, dust, and poor sound insulation.

Clean and fast reply from the host, location is really good. The fact that the rooms aren’t soundproof and some other guests are really loud at random hours in the night.

Great value for money! The guesthouse is on a quiet street, yet only a few minutes’ walk from Hongdae’s lively cafés, restaurants, and nightlife. The rooms are clean and simple.
Three double beds, good location, clean outside environment. Soundproofing really isn’t great. A TV in the room would have been nice.

The host replied quickly 👍, and the bathroom and toilet are separate. The place sits in Yeonnam‑dong, about a 15‑minute walk from Hongdae Exit 3 😖😖. It feels like a typical host‑family spot with no elevator ⚠️⚠️⚠️, and the fridge and kitchen are shared on the second floor, which leaves a strong food‑waste smell and a less than ideal environment. The room is old, with cotton blankets and pillows that leave heavy cotton fluff, and the shower curtain is used but water still spills over the door; the sound insulation is really bad 😖😖… It’s literally a dollar‑for‑dollar deal; prices around Hongdae are high, so if you ignore those issues, it’s very cheap. There are plenty of small shops to wander near Yeonnam‑dong.
