The location is great, close to the old town, the Sunday night market, and a laundromat—just 20 m from the 7/11. The staff were welcoming, but the hot water was spotty, sometimes going cold and needing half a minute to heat back up, and the air‑conditioning made a bit of noise.

The hotel sits in the center and has a lovely courtyard, a generous breakfast, and very friendly staff. When we checked out we were charged 100 baht for a glass that accidentally broke in the room, which felt unfair. The room was on the small side, making it hard to fit or lay out our luggage, and there was an occasional damp smell.

The pool was refreshing and the location was in the central, intramural square of Chiang Mai. However, the breakfast buffet could have at least one or two meat‑free or egg‑free options.
