The receptionist added a 2‑euro charge for no reason when you arrive, the floor is sticky, the sheets are dirty, other rooms are rented out for lodging, and the noise kept you awake all night.
“Plutôt sympa, si on suit le rapport qualité coût”
Host was welcoming. The cost of the hotel was reasonable. The sheets were a bit old. The shared bathrooms were outside the rooms.
The welcome was unpleasant; I was prevented from checking in before 23:00, the gentleman who received me was terribly annoyed, and he told me over the phone that if I didn't arrive before 23:00 I would have to pay a 20‑euro surcharge, but when I arrived he demanded 24 euros and gave me no receipt. The room they assigned me was number 5. It was dated, with a mattress and pillows that were very uncomfortable, old furnishings, essential only, and the high shelves were dusty. The blanket on the dirty shelf, and the window opened only partially and offered no view. The bathroom was like the chemical ones used on construction sites, with a plastic sink and a very small shower. I didn’t think to take photos to document what I’m writing, but the disappointment was really great.
The room was clean, service was good, a quiet spot to stay in Paris, close to bus stops.
“Pár éjszakára kiváló választás, pároknak, barátoknak.”
Excellent location, safe area, public transport right next door, easy access to any point in Paris. Independent check‑in and check‑out, shops, supermarkets, restaurants right next to the hotel, daily cleaning. Loud surroundings, main road, but well‑sealed windows, not too disturbing.
