It felt like a beautiful farmhouse with lovely gardens, and the room itself was very spacious.

The room was really nice, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was great; nothing to complain about.

The suite was lovely and spacious, with classic décor and separate areas, including a small library that was a nice touch; breakfast was small but tasty, and there were plenty of local spots to eat in the evening. The place was very clean, with good quality linen, toiletries, and a range of teas served in nice china. I can definitely recommend it. As a night owl, I noticed the slightly squeaky floorboards in the suite, which made the wardrobe rattle a bit—expected in an old house and only noticeable late at night when the house was quiet and I didn’t want to disturb other guests. To help first‑time guests, a small sign at the front door would clarify which door to approach.

The property had character and the bedroom was full of history; it was a suite with a large, comfortable bed. The hosts were lovely, made us feel very welcome, and the homemade breakfast was excellent. Nothing to add.
