I was thrilled with the area and the hotel’s décor, which gives off a gorgeous vintage vibe, but a few front‑desk staff members were not very friendly.

The breakfast was a highlight.

The location was very nice, our preferences were respected, and we had a very peaceful room. The breakfast was thin and lacked variety, with no hot dishes, and the dinner was ordinary but acceptable.

This historic hotel was fantastic. Getting to the waterfall was easy, and in the early morning I was the only person enjoying the tranquil view and the waterfall. The breakfast was good, and I even got to sit at the piano that Edward Grieg played on decades ago while staying at this same property.

The entire interior of the hotel feels like someone stopped time, and we loved it—very nostalgic. The rooms are modern and practical, and the restaurant is delicious with a good breakfast.
