This was my first stay at a TRU hotel; I was pleasantly surprised, felt welcomed, and cared for.
I don’t eat beef or pork, so I was really hoping for waffles and turkey sausage—maybe next time. The pool area could use better landscaping instead of dead bushes, and a couple of TVs by the pool would help the sport fans.

Breakfast was good, but I would have liked a coffee maker in my room and a fridge with a freezer compartment. I took my lunch to the convention every day and had no way to refreeze my ice pack. The faux floor was dirty; when I walked barefoot my feet turned black!

The spot sits right on a mountain, giving a stunning view of the surrounding hills and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s close enough to downtown Cartersville that you can walk to plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, banks and shops. My family and I had no issues at all and would definitely come back if we’re in the area again.
