The showers are decent, but there are few hooks and shelves for your stuff.

The hostel has a sleek, modern look with spacious living areas and a kitchenette. The wooden beds squeak loudly when you shift, and the place sits above the fish market, so the smell is strong. The street is noisy, and the showers lack storage—everything gets wet. I paid €37 for a bed in a room shared with eight other women, which feels too pricey when a private room elsewhere costs €40. The bedroom only had three coat racks for eight people, which was a bit lacking.

A brand‑new building perched over a municipal hall, with a side entrance, works great as a hostel.

It’s close to the beach, clean, and the kitchen is good. It might have been a Sunday, so no restaurants were open and only one market offered minimal choices, making the first night on the Camino tough. Also, there was no hand‑washing station for laundry, so I had to wash my clothes in the sink.
