Great position, friendly and helpful staff, and nice food in the restaurant. It would have been helpful to know about the restaurant offers (e.g., 30 % off food on Monday, fish dish specials on Tuesday, etc.) before arrival. The breakfast table had a very limited selection before the “good” cooked element.

A beautiful old building with tasteful rooms, friendly staff, and a good pub restaurant. There’s nothing to dislike.

Cozy rooms. No banisters on the steps to the bedrooms, and there was only one chair in the bedroom.

The pub inside and out was lovely. The rooms felt too hot, and there was some damage to the bathroom door frame. The big windows wouldn’t open.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially John who went above and beyond for us. The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable. We were treated to lunch upon arrival and had a wide selection of delicious food for both lunch and breakfast. Although the website says no dogs are allowed, we had allergies to dander and John made sure our rooms were pet‑free, ensuring we were safe.
