“Staycation”
The breakfast was really good and the room was roomy with all the essentials, but the noise from other guests late at night was annoying and the reception didn’t respond.

The location was spot on for where I needed to be, the breakfast was lovely and served by a friendly staff member, and checking in went smoothly.

The room was stunning and spotless, but the pool was empty because of ongoing renovations, and the old charming pub had been turned into a cold, soulless modern bar.

I didn’t stay because the place was out of town, in a rural area surrounded by informal settlements, and I didn’t feel safe; I found a decent spot in Winterton instead and would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially since it doesn’t look like the picture on the website.

The nature around the hotel was quiet, but there were no bathropes.
