Everything was conveniently close to the apartment, which I liked a lot. The downside was the parking situation and the extra costs involved.

Amazing building, studio, and location. Friendly staff and easy access to a modern option in New Orleans. Parking, $30 a night, no other options around

The property was spotless and within walking distance of the main attractions. The only drawback was that there was no parking available.

The apartment was gorgeous and spacious, with everything you’d need for a short stay. However, there were no tea towels or cleaning supplies, and only a handful of dishwasher tablets were provided. Noise from trams and trucks every half hour kept us up each night. The room had pins left on the floor, black hair beads in the rugs, hair in the bathtub, and a dirty face towel shoved into the shower curtain. While the location was excellent aside from the trams, the building itself was quiet, and I’m not sure why the trams were never mentioned. We also had trouble with the entry codes—many others did too—and got locked out, but customer service helped us out.

The location was terrific—easy to reach the French Quarter, streetcars, museums, the ferry, and everything else. The heritage building was beautiful, the spaces and facilities were great, and the entry instructions were simple. The downside was that the large living room had very uncomfortable furnishings. I told management that the sofa‑bed had been broken before and couldn’t be sat on comfortably; it would have needed replacing, which would have taken longer than our stay. They said they could move us if we insisted, but we didn’t. The other chair was loose and never used, and a few other items like the bedside lamp switches needed repair or replacement.
