The place and the pool were great, except for a few guests blasting music too loud.

The staff was great, especially Gabriel and Ricardo! Gabriel helped us when we arrived, and Ricardo stepped in after Gabriel left. I didn’t like the room I first booked because it lacked a bedroom separation; I had to upgrade to a pricier room to get the privacy I wanted. I also disliked seeing a cow tied to a tree, tangled between two trees; my dad had to untangle it so the poor animal could reach its water. The hacienda’s location bothered me too—I had to drive over dirt roads to get there. The pool was very small; we could use it the first night, but the second night it was full of people staying past midnight, even though we were told the pool closed at 11, which was disappointing because we couldn’t use it and couldn’t sleep due to the noise.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable with memory foam pillows, and the air conditioning worked properly. The location is far from the asphalt road.

The male receptionist, I think his name was Jesus, was so welcoming and attentive that it made our stay even better. There was no food or beer near or at the hotel.
