The hotel and its staff were very good, and the food was excellent.

The hotel is wonderful and well‑located. However, there are strange noises at night—apparently ghosts or something—shouting and walking loudly on the floors until two a.m. I parked my motorcycle in the evening, only to find it moved to a new spot each morning. It's pure mysticism, really.

This place in Janakpur is really decent: clean, quiet, and safe, suitable for western foreigners and solo female travelers. The rooftop restaurant is nice, they serve fresh and healthy food, and they provide filtered drinking water. If I ever visit Janakpur again, I’ll stay at Janakpur Inn.
