“I felt comfortable and safe.”
The location was delightful, and that’s all I have to say.
“Ungemütliche Absteige , das sich Motel nennt”
The only nice thing was the friendly receptionist. Anyone who has to stay here will be heavily penalized. If you have no choice, you can spend a night here, which is passable if you call a dark room with a tiny window your home. The hostel feels more like a homeless shelter, and I was probably the only paying guest paying over €100 a night to support everyone else. The bed was clean—no pests, though the floor should only be walked on with shoes. I brought my Crocs so I wouldn’t have to touch the dusty, hair‑covered floor (from whoever). The bathroom worked, but a cockroach visited me while showering. Wi‑Fi was almost nonexistent because everyone spent their miserable lives watching things and blocked internet access. I already had my own Starlink antenna on the roof, which a long‑haired employee knocked over, for some reason. I had to point out that I wanted internet. So again, if you don’t have to stay in that corner, don’t go to this motel. Long Island has few lodging options, so this is the cheapest of the overpriced ones. The surroundings are attractive, with a quiet, nice sandy beach. There are also two promising restaurants. In the pizzeria you can grab a fast‑food pizza slice and a beer to enjoy the sunset at a small outdoor table. If you look, you’ll find some romance in the setting.
“Mala”
The location is close to the beach, but the room was ugly, the bathroom was damaged, the pool was dirty, the Chinese staff charged up to a coffee, the check‑in was at 11 but they said it was at 3 and you had to pay $5 an hour until 3 pm, $20 total, and check‑out was at 11; if you stayed past 11 you were charged $10 an hour.
“i had a good time quiet place”
The room had a microwave and refrigerator, but the bed was too small for a couple.
👍 good 😊
