The location of this hotel is seriously unbeatable - you can walk to all the shops and restaurants, and it's just a short drive to Mt Rushmore.
We were really pleased with how clean and comfortable our room was.
The restaurant on site was top-notch.
The staff at this hotel were absolutely fantastic - they were friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

The hotel is close to Mount Rushmore, but the room was tiny, in bad repair, the carpet was dirty, water didn't drain from the tub or shower, and the bed was uncomfortable.
The location is good, but the breakfast room feels like a bunker with no windows, the rooms have connecting doors that let a lot of noise through, the carpet is worn, and the furniture is outdated.
“Zentral in Keystone, mit sehr ansprechendem Komfort”
There are enough free parking spots, the property sits right on Touri Boulevard yet remains quiet, and the breakfast was adequate with nothing missing for a U.S. traveler. The rooms are noisy, the closed intermediate door lacks soundproofing so everything is audible, the pool is at one end of the hotel with no changing area, and there are no bathrobes, so no proper swim experience.
“Not much liking except close to memorial site”
They upgraded me to a larger room with a kitchen, which was nice, but the original room had old walls with visible cracks, a single window, and a dusty mud wall that made it feel a bit uncomfortable; I didn't really need the kitchen since I only stayed overnight.
“I just want a good night sleep in a comfortable bed.”
The location was great, but the beds were a let‑down.
