The location is decent, but the place reeks of smoke and the service is very poor.

A pleasant vibe, 24‑hour coffee, and a cozy setting.

The staff knew the property well, I was near Mt. Rushmore and a short drive from Crazy Horse, and the small town was great, but parking was scarce for guests carrying tools. From the moment I arrived, I was told there was no breakfast and there weren’t enough staff to clean my room; when I needed towels or other amenities I had to go to the office. There was no internet, so I couldn’t work and had to use a coffee shop instead. The view of Mt. Rushmore was visible but far away, not as close as the website or photos suggested. It was quiet after 10:00 pm when the town shut down, and the A/C was a bit noisy.

Free parking, no breakfast, close to downtown and Mount Rushmore, but it’s overpriced.
