The owner is friendly and speaks French, and the price‑to‑quality ratio is fair. The shower pressure is excellent. The breakfast is disappointing: only Migros bread, a few slices of salami or ham, some cheese, jam, and cereal, with no sweet items or homemade dishes. Over the three days there was never anyone at the reception, so you either have to bump into the manager by chance or manage on your own – something I’ve never seen before. It was the end of summer, yet the place felt soulless.

The place was surprisingly quiet even though it sits right in the city centre. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help, and the rooms were spotless. From the hotel you can walk to most of the main attractions in just a few minutes.

The hotel felt homey thanks to the owners, who were genuinely warm and helpful. Everything ran smoothly and we’d jump at the chance to stay again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
