The location is ideal for the Monet gardens, just a 5‑minute walk, and it’s quite pretty with plenty of old beams, a lovely shower, nice gardens, and a decent breakfast but no hot food. I understand the price reflects the location, and I expected to pay a lot, but at that price I did not expect subpar Wi‑Fi, curtains on only a couple of windows while the rest had shutters that require you to be over 6 feet tall with long arms, a shower without a door that floods the bathroom, no restaurant, badly torn sheets, and a 5 pm check‑in.

The place is pleasant, well‑located, and tastefully renovated; the breakfast is good. The hosts are barely friendly, the reception feels cold, the bedding is poor, housekeeping is not thorough, the breakfast room is barely clean, and the tables are tiny.
