I didn’t like any aspect of the accommodation; the owner was unfriendly and tried to swindle us. He promised to refund everything over the phone, but never sent a single euro back through Booking. I asked to be let in after a long, exhausted night, but he wouldn’t allow me to check in. He kept saying he’d refund the money, but to this day nothing has been returned.

The rooms were large, with comfortable beds, modern, bright, and a separate bathroom. We didn’t book breakfast because we were heading out early. The host wasn’t there at the agreed time, but the family was ultimately very helpful and showed us the premises so we could unpack. The location is in the old village center, and all nearby parking spots were taken when we returned around 23:00 on Saturday night. We left our car at the left garage entrance from 23:30 until about 07:00, even though the hosts told us not to. The next morning, we were hit with a big scratch (probably from a key, who knows) on the side door.

The experience was mixed; the best parts were the location, rooms, material quality, décor, terrace layout—perfect, 10/10. The disappointing part was the welcome: the person in charge (either an employee or the owner) was as unkind as a prison door, clearly unaware of how to greet guests. The worst was that we booked a bed‑and‑breakfast, but when we asked for it in the morning, the reply was “no breakfast, go to Arco and figure it out.” No hint or directions were given. We even met a German couple who told us they’d been harassed for trying to brew tea in the kitchen.

At first there were hiccups with the booking and misunderstandings. Later we spoke on the phone with the lady, exchanged views, and she was very helpful in finding a solution. The environment was welcoming, very clean, and meticulously cared for. I recommend it, thanks to the lady who hosted us.
