We visited for the second time with two kids and used the courtyard tent. It was clean, comfortable, and pleasant. Melnik, Rupite, and other sights are nearby, making it a convenient pitstop on the way to Greece.

“i ultimately couldnt stay but i was kinda glad. the vibe and facilities were not great”

The people were nice and the setup was appealing, with an interesting eco‑concept and shared space for travelers. I didn’t feel very welcomed; they knew I was bringing my dog before I arrived, but the owners’ dogs barked aggressively and didn’t seem friendly. It was almost impossible to leave my dog in the garden because of the loud barking, so I had to keep her in the tent. I also felt like an intruder since there were no other guests, and the owners’ grandchildren were hanging out in the garden, making it feel like I was crashing a family weekend. Additionally, the tent’s fan was broken, so I couldn’t use the tent until at least the evening for me or my dog. I was called back to Sofia unexpectedly, but that wasn’t because the place or people were bad—just that it didn’t feel welcoming or practical for someone traveling with a dog.

“A good place in the midst of nature.”

It was a great spot to stay overnight. The kids loved sleeping in a tent. The grass was green, you could pick cherries from the tree, and birds sang everywhere. The hostess was ideal.
