“Hyvä huoneisto keskellä Ilmajokea”
The place doesn't offer breakfast, but the location is good because everything in Ilmajo is within a short walk, and there's a well‑equipped communal kitchen; the rooms are fairly large and well furnished. When picking up the keys, they were in key boxes attached to the door handles, so each time the front door had to be pushed aside to open them—those boxes could be mounted on the wall. There was no Wi‑Fi.
Check‑in was easy and the car could be parked nearby. In the rooms you could hear other rooms, and from early night the traffic noise was the biggest nuisance.
Clean, simple room. Communication was very cumbersome: the phone wasn't answered, and they weren't flexible about arrival times. The equipment had a retro vibe, the blackout curtains were ineffective for night brightness, lamps flickered, and the walls were thin so everything could be heard.
“Paras hls majoitus missä olen ollut. Ja matkustan työn puolesta melko paljon.”
The car could be parked practically in front of the door, the room was really large, and the shower and toilet were big and clean; the kitchen was tidy and well equipped.
Booking was possible on short notice. The photos of the place I booked didn't match my expectations; they showed laminate or similar floors, so the property seemed relatively modern/clean, but the actual apartment was less upscale with carpeted floors. The rent was cheap, but the photos should have reflected the reality. I wouldn't have booked the apartment if the pictures had been of the actual unit.
