“Mesés helyszín”
The place is fantastic, the view is magical, and the proximity to nature is refreshing. The rooms are fully equipped, beautiful, and clean. The bathroom and kitchen are in a separate building, which didn’t bother us at all, only the kids. The place is well equipped, has everything you need, even more than you might think 🙂, but the remote controls for the TV and air‑conditioner didn’t work because the batteries were dead, except for one air‑conditioner. In such a beautiful location that doesn’t matter, it’s not a missing feature, we could say, but it does matter for the children.
The location is great.
The surroundings and view are beautiful. The water in the shower irritated our eyes.
The overall design is nice, simple and refined. I was satisfied last year and this year was great too. I hope next year we can keep our free time. The only suggestion is that a motion‑sensor light could be added near the last step before the toilet. The toilet tank doesn’t refill (I saw a water‑harvesting system that’s fantastic), but in this case it’s annoying, especially if there are more guests. This is not a negative critique, just an observation.
“Would stay here again”
We stayed here while attending the DAAD Gathering at the Ozora festival grounds; it was about a 20‑minute drive and easy to get a taxi, though note that mini‑bus or people‑carrier sized taxis cannot pick up or drop you off at the rooms because of the tight, single‑track road, but they can take you to the bottom of the hill which could be a 25‑minute walk depending on your fitness or intoxication level, lol. The room had a fridge, kettle, and air‑con, beautiful views, quiet and relaxing, spacious, with comfy beds. Nothing fancy, but overall comfortable. There were two additional, separate composting WCs not mentioned in the listing. Fruit trees, grape vines, and a swing next to the lavender field added charm. Key‑safe entry to rooms. The host responded quickly when our flight was changed, allowing us to check in late, and also quickly replaced a blown bedside lamp bulb. Wifi was good in the rooms. There was plenty of loo roll. A hairdryer was available in the shared shower/WC. We even saw a deer meandering through the grounds! The car is probably essential because it’s a real hike from the town and train station; Google suggests it’s about a 45‑minute walk, but in the heat and with the steepness it could be more. Staying here isn’t for someone with mobility issues, even with a car, as the shared kitchen and shower/WC are down steps away from most rooms. Some of the water looked to be supplied from rainwater harvesting due to discoloration, but there was a water dispenser in the kitchen; none of the taps seemed potable, so bring bottled water for ease and peace of mind. Showers weren’t great because the water pressure was not good and some heads sprayed everywhere. The shower/WC floor was always wet, though there is a mop. There are fly screens on some windows but not on the door. Don’t leave the outside lights on and door curtains open at night like we did, otherwise you and the room will be swarmed by beasties when you go through the door! Curtains weren’t blackout. The pillows were small and not thick, so I had to use my camping pillow with them to get some height and support. Bins weren’t labelled in English—need a translation app—and others clearly weren’t using the bins properly for recycling.
