The room and its view were great, though the location felt a bit off the beaten path.

Not on the main street, it’s a bit up and the climb is tough, but the hotel itself is very good with a friendly staff who helped us with our luggage and escorted us; there were some electrical problems that frustrated us a bit; breakfast wasn’t the most amazing but we managed with what was available; overall, the value for the price was good.

Our stay was terribly disappointing and the value for money was extremely poor; the room was filthy, especially the bathroom, which was in an unacceptable condition; the Wi‑Fi never worked at all; on top of that, during a power outage the hotel had no generator or backup power, leaving us without electricity; given the price and the fact that this property brands itself as a luxury hotel, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and basic facilities; unfortunately, the reality fell far short of our expectations; we would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.

The food was okay and the room was spacious, but there was no Wi‑Fi, no power backup, and no TV.

There’s nothing specific to like about this property; the pictures and setup of the room we booked differ from what was offered at check‑in; the property manager suggested we cancel our booking and make a direct booking with them, offering a discount when we questioned the maintenance and why the room was different; there is nothing luxurious about this hotel except its name; the maintenance was poor and hygiene was lacking; the food was basic and okay; the staff were not professional or helpful; during breakfast the property manager literally caught a mouse/rat and moved it through the kitchen/dining area while guests were eating.
