The location is superb, just a stone’s throw from Wenslas Square, the Palladium Mall and also the Old Town, but there’s no staff to take your luggage—you have to manage it yourself.

I couldn’t get a conversation in Slovak or Czech at the front desk; the receptionist spoke only English, which I also experienced during my previous stay. I understand that the clientele might require foreign languages, but Czech should be manageable as a second language, especially since the night staff was Czech and that worked fine. I managed to communicate, but others might find it unnecessarily negative.

The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable.

The hotel’s cheap location is great for visiting sights and the train station. The sofa bed was a bit saggy.
