The hosts were amazing – they met us with coffee and a little garden dinner after we arrived late. The next morning they served a king‑size breakfast. We stayed two nights and those were the best nights we’ve had; the only downside is that we were only there for a short time.

The owners are the real stars – this place is far from a five‑star hotel, but it feels like a genuine Albanian adventure. We were treated like guests of warm grandparents, with a lovely owner who never stops working and a husband who tends the plants. The food and coffee were delicious, the path winds through a stone village, and the tomatoes were amazing. The only hiccup was the driveway – better leave the car near the church.

We spent three days with lovely locals, tasting fresh cow milk, homemade fruit, tomatoes, cheese, olive oil, and great breakfasts and dinners. The only downside was the tourist‑carved frescos on the 4th‑century church.

The remote spot is gorgeous, the owners are super friendly, and you get real Albanian hospitality in a stunning setting. The only drawback is that it’s hard to find and best reached by SUV.
