We were greeted warmly and the staff stayed exceptionally courteous and polite throughout our stay. Our apartment was beautiful and spacious, featuring two bedrooms, three balconies, a large kitchen and a big bathroom. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The food also impressed us – both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The view toward Valletta was especially nice. We would have liked a sun lounger on the balconies, as the chairs provided were not very comfortable for long sitting. Parking can be found for free on the street with a bit of luck – we were mostly lucky. Alternatively, there is a parking garage for €8 per day. What really bothered us was the paid pool usage at €30 per person per day, regardless of whether you use it for an hour or all day. We overlooked this when booking and are not used to hotels charging extra for pool use. For a hotel or apartment of this price range, we would have expected pool access to be included in the room rate. A wellness area fee of €40 is understandable, but not for the regular pool – especially since it is already shaded from about 16:00. Aside from that, everything was great and we felt very comfortable.

“A very disappointing stay from start to finish, with poor service, unclean rooms and unhelpful, rude staff”

The rooms were spacious. We arrived and were told the room would be ready by 3 pm. After an early flight and exhaustion, we went out for lunch and came back at 3 pm, only to learn the room was still not ready. This was extremely frustrating because we had a concert to attend and needed time to prepare. The reception lady was extremely rude, patronising and dismissive, showing no interest in listening to or addressing our concerns. The rooms were not cleaned during our stay and our towels weren’t changed; we had to call reception for fresh towels. The bins were left overflowing, which was disappointing and not what you expect from a hotel. We experienced several power cuts, including one that delayed us from going out because I was straightening my hair and left it half done. To make matters worse, at checkout we were told the lady who checked us in had only charged us for two people instead of four. Although the difference was only €12, it was not our fault. The receptionist was again rude and unhelpful when discussing the issue. Overall, this place is absolutely not worth the money. The staff were rude and unprofessional, the cleanliness and housekeeping were poor, and the service was very disappointing. There are plenty of other places to stay in Malta, so I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I would definitely not stay here again.

From the moment we walked into the reception, the whole place left us in awe; the staff were genuinely kind, not just greeting us but also helping with everything, even letting us leave the room later because I was feeling very ill on my last day. The rooms were gorgeous, spotless, and even more stunning than the photos show. Highly recommend.

“Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit teuren Extras”

The accommodation was beautiful with a fantastic view and tasteful décor; just a 10‑minute walk to cafés and Mdina, and the staff were very friendly. However, the pool cost an extra 30 € per day and the spa area 40 €, which feels steep given the high price of the stay.
