The breakfast offered plenty of choices and was very good. The hotel sits close to a water treatment plant, so when I arrived I noticed a faint sewer smell that I thought was plumbing; I used to live in Ventura County and remember the plant near the harbor. The room included a microwave and fridge, but there was no shower cap and only the bare minimum supplies, so I wouldn’t stay there again.

I’m a repeat guest and the hotel’s location is convenient for my vacation spots; the staff are friendly and the rooms stay clean and comfortable. The only thing that could improve is the timing of the closing receipt—after 12 hours post‑checkout I still haven’t gotten an email, and the pending deposit hasn’t been replaced by a final receipt that should only show the parking fee, which is disappointing.

“Great location, there should be more hotels on the water in the harbor to choose from.”

The hotel’s location is great, right on the harbor with a nice view from the room. However, the carpet in the room was gross—clearly a dog room with pee stains everywhere—so the room didn’t feel clean, and the bathroom could use a deep clean and some upgrades.

The place was spotless and I felt completely at ease; the staff were friendly and always smiling. Breakfast was excellent, and it was lovely to eat while looking over the harbor, and the location was great too. The shower’s water pressure was a bit low, but that’s no issue.
