“no frills place good for a night or two”
The hotel was quiet, had a strong AC, good Wi‑Fi, and a central spot that was far enough from the beach to dodge high restaurant prices; you could see the mountains and city, access the rooftop for sunset views, use the elevator, and find a dry cleaner/laundromat and many local restaurants nearby, plus a good shower. However, the receptionists didn’t speak English, though the manager did and was reachable by phone/WhatsApp; I requested a late check‑in the night before, the message got missed, but the manager sorted it out and honored the early check‑in I’d booked for free. The shower drain was slow and a few hairs left by previous guests hadn’t been cleaned.
This hotel fails to honor bookings made through Booking; it’s the third time it’s messed up the reservation and prices, demanding we pay more than the Booking rate, so we left and went to another hotel with a better and lower price.
