I arrived around 12:15 and spent an hour waiting for the lift to the guest floors. The receptionist kept telling me to wait, and after two hours there were still no rooms ready, so I ended up moving over to Crowne Plaza where I finally got decent treatment. Honestly, this place feels more like an office building than a hotel.

The place seemed to cater only to men, reeked of cigarette smoke, had a sticky floor and cockroaches crawling around, and the whole building looked extremely rundown.

The 39th‑floor view was killer – city skyline from up high. The room itself was huge, had a tiny kitchenette and a big fridge, but it was far from spotless.

Everything about the stay left me feeling satisfied; the experience was just right.
