Everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect: the amenities, the service, the food, the breathtaking view of mountains meeting the sea, and the rooms’ design. I especially liked the 24‑hour medical clinic where a nurse or doctor could be seen. Nothing was lacking.

The room’s fixtures and furniture could use an update, and the bathroom’s decor and furnishings were lacking.

The surroundings were gorgeous, set among the mountains, and our room had a terrace just a few steps from the pool area. The lazy river was fun, and the night‑time and morning waves were soothing. The beach was also nearby. Every staff member was very friendly, and Osama was lovely at check‑in. The Thaw in Al Tanoor restaurant was delightful, and the included buffet breakfast offered a fantastic variety. The evening buffet again had an array of truly delicious dishes. I visited the resort’s car museum, which was interesting, and there seemed to be a children’s play area inside the building. We went to Old Muscat and saw the National Museum, which is well worth a visit and has a small entry fee. We will definitely return to Muscat. The hotel is a bit away from Muscat’s main area, so a car or taxi is necessary to get around. However, if you’re all‑inclusive and just want to relax at the resort, it’s perfect.
