The room had a strong musty smell.
I had to wait until sometime after 3 pm before I could enter.

Very clean and good facilities. The staff was very kind !. The way to get to the hostel was dirty

Getting there feels like an adventure, which is fun. There is no parking, but one is a block away.

The staff were friendly and responsive. We stayed two nights and the experience was quite disappointing. When we arrived, the room that had been assigned to us (on the floor, with the view) was not very clean. Additionally, there was no hot water. After we reported the issue, the manager tried to help and offered to try other rooms. Room 4 had hot water, but it had a strong damp smell and many moisture stains on the walls. The toilets were also not very clean. We then tried room 3, but that one was partially flooded because of the shower. In the end, we had to shower in room 4 and then go back to our original room. Unfortunately, it rained that night and the noise from the metal roof was extremely loud, making sleep difficult. Between that and the dogs barking outside, we slept very poorly. The positive point is that the manager was friendly and tried to find solutions for the various problems. However, despite the many inconveniences, no commercial gesture was offered when we asked if the second night could be free or partially compensated. In short, the staff are friendly, but the overall condition of the rooms and lack of comfort make it hard to recommend this place, especially rooms on the floor under the metal roof.
