“Charming and peaceful hotel by the lake”
The hotel sits in a very quiet and peaceful spot with direct lake access. The staff were extremely kind, attentive and helpful. The hotel itself is housed in an old, charming building with a historic interior and antique furniture – some pieces even creak in a delightful way, giving the place a unique vibe. Breakfast was very generous, offering classic, vegetarian or sweet options. We chose the classic breakfast, which included a huge bread roll, various meats, bacon, cheese, butter, vegetables, a boiled egg and cottage cheese. The kids opted for the sweet breakfast and enjoyed pancakes with strawberry and vanilla sauce. Parking was available right in the hotel courtyard, which was very convenient. Overall, we had a great stay and felt well taken care of. Some room elements could use a bit of maintenance or renovation. We mentioned a window issue in the children’s room, and the caretaker fixed it promptly, which we really appreciated. We didn’t report the other small issues, as they were more about comfort than safety and didn’t significantly affect our stay.
