The price was under $100 a night, but the hallways carried a cigarette smell, some of our towels were dirty, the fridge had mold, and the breakfast spread was tiny and basic—just eggs, no sausage or bacon, and instant oatmeal. The building had no elevator, though with only two floors it wasn’t a huge issue.

Everything was perfect, and the staff were polite and welcoming; the photos on the website matched reality. The only downside was that the shower head could have been cleaner.
