The owner demanded an extra 1000 yen per person for air‑conditioning each day, otherwise we couldn't check in; the attitude was bad, the location was awful, a small car couldn't even get in, and when we arrived there was no one at the front desk—half an hour later the owner finally showed up, which was really disappointing. We ended up preferring to sleep in the car than to stay there.

It’s a small museum with many interesting items, the owner loves jazz and there's a great Hi‑Fi system in the room with vinyls, CDs, even a screen and a video projector! It’s far from the city center—expect a 15 to 20 minute walk to find a restaurant.

The facilities were very niche and I found them very comfortable. Getting in and out by car was difficult, especially if you’re using a rental car.
