“Lovely Location, Minor Door Glitch”
The location and garden were absolutely stunning. The only minor issue was that the sliding door to the bungalow was a bit tricky to open and close.

The hotel's location was great, just a short walk from the city center, but the WiFi was a real pain to deal with - it kept dropping out and I couldn't even watch a live football match without interruptions. It was frustrating, but the location made up for it.
I stayed in a bungalow that’s tucked away from the road, so cars are quiet, though their café sometimes hosts karaoke until 12 pm and later, but it’s not loud. The bungalows aren’t brand‑new, yet everything works, stays clean, and includes everything promised on Booking. The outside veranda shared one space for two rooms. Across the fence is the elephant village, where you can hear the elephants in the mornings and evenings. On the beach, they bring out 2–3 elephants daily—great for photos and even swimming with them. A minor drawback: the staff don’t speak English or even Thai, making communication a bit tough, so the usual Thai hospitality, friendliness, and smiles are missing. The beach is 400 m away and you can only swim during high tide; otherwise, rocks come up from the bottom.
