The air‑conditioning kept blowing hot air, waking me up four or five times all night; even after adjusting the temperature many times it stayed at 29 °C—summer heat that was unbearable. Every TV next to the bath was playing adult films, and there was no option to switch to regular programming.

The interior décor of the room was great. I’d stayed at many motels before, but this was the first time I encountered a “connected stay” policy: after checking out at 11 a.m. the next day I had to wait until after 9 p.m. to check in again. Even though there was an option to avoid early checkout, I still had to pay an extra 1,000 yuan. Why not just add that to the original bill? Compared with other motels it felt oddly strange, and after this experience I won’t choose this place for a consecutive stay again.
