“Tout a été parfait”
The staff’s welcome and the location were positive, nothing negative.
We really liked how comfortable the bed was, but the breakfast had too few options.
“Bueno pero puede mejorar”
I liked the location a lot—transport to all parts of Rome was very easy, the room was spacious and everything was clean. The breakfast options could improve; adding protein like eggs, ham, and cheese would be nice. The air conditioning was very old and dripped all night, so we had to put a bucket in the room to avoid a huge puddle—definitely needs replacement. They have a coffee machine but there were no capsules or anything to use it.
“Great few days in Rome”
I booked last minute after reading reviews and wasn’t sure what to expect; there’s no front desk, so you ring the number for Vatican Grand Suites on the main door, get buzzed in, receive an SMS with a code for the first‑floor door, and find your keys in a key‑safe on the wall (information that would have helped when booking). The room was clean and adequate for our needs. Breakfast was unconventional: you fill out a form, take a photo, and send it to the number you rang; the next morning it’s delivered to your room. It was mainly cereal, toast, croissants, and tea (no coffee, but they gladly gave soy milk when I asked). The lady (I didn’t catch her name) was lovely; as we were leaving early for our flight she gave us something to eat the night before, which we appreciated. The location was great—just 10–15 minutes to Vatican City. My only downsides were the pillows being a bit firm (personal preference) and the noise from police sirens, dog barking, and reversing beeps from larger vehicles, all beyond the apartment’s control, which didn’t spoil the otherwise lovely few days in Rome.
“Ótima localização!”
Very good! Close to great restaurants, fully stocked markets, and you could walk to several local attractions.
