The location is beautiful with easy access to a pebble beach, and the staff were friendly and the dining experience was good, but the road noise can be a problem.

The spot is great and the valet parking is a plus, and Andrea is a credit to the hotel – that’s the only good thing; the room had a damp smell, was dirty, and very dark because we chose the cliff‑edge room; there was no tea or coffee in the room, water was charged, the minibar was accused of being used, the toilet seat was cracked, floors were dirty, extra pillows had no pillowcases, breakfast was poor, the coffee at breakfast was bad, it was expensive (£1000 for 2 nights!), you only get a sea‑view room, it feels like a captive audience, and it’s overpriced for what you receive – purely “location, location, location!”

Parking is available for a fee, there’s a beach bar that’s not well staffed, and the location is fine, but the staff are demotivated and not proactive with guests, and the common areas and rooms need a serious renovation.

The private loungers beside the sea. The fabulous meal on the terrace overlooking the sea. A bit tired. No bar facilities for afternoon or late night
