The room was great! The view from my room was beautiful, overlooking the mountains.

A solid choice for a stay in Aguas Calientes. Facing the river, the window view is lovely. The place shines in its cleanliness and the staff are very attentive. It sits right across from the bus stop to Machu Picchu, which is convenient but also means constant bus noise; once that stops, you only hear the river.

The staff were very friendly. One employee even drove our two large suitcases on a dolly to the station. Breakfast was adequate. We didn’t have to deal with the noise from the very early buses or trains. The lack of an elevator makes it tough with heavy luggage when your room is on the second or third floor. Our room was small, and there’s no lounge or sitting area, so the place feels more like a B&B: good for sleeping and breakfast only.

I appreciate that they serve breakfast as early as 4:30 am, which is handy for guests heading to Machu Picchu early.
