Everything was truly perfect during our stay at Mes deux gîtes de l’Ocre; the reception explained everything with great kindness and offered excellent tips for nearby walks. The accommodation is very pleasant and the place is extremely quiet, ideal for resting and recharging. If you’re looking for a spot to relax and recover, I recommend it without hesitation.

The location on a hill beneath trees, the pool for a refresher, the tranquility, and the geographic setting are all positives. The cottages could use a refresh.

We hadn’t read the reviews before booking and discovering the place. We should have… (especially about) The lady’s welcome was pleasant, thanks again, but it’s a shame the accommodation was so dirty and the outside unmaintained. We didn’t get a walkthrough; she only told us where the lodging was. We arrived, the door was wide open with the key on it, presumably to air it out since cleaning hadn’t been done. Mosquitoes were still crushed on the front glass and the toilet door. There were also spider webs on the lamps and chandelier, cabinets full of crumbs… Moreover, the cushions are so worn that they fall apart at touch, and the mattress is just as uncomfortable. All this for a price of 187 € for 2 nights. We paid for two nights but only stayed one. This has never happened to us before.
