I was able to bring my little dog and enjoyed the views of the square. The cistern button broke, but my husband fixed it.

This is the no‑frills version of Hotel Alfonso VI, right next to the Alcazar, with all the city’s sights within walking distance—what’s not to like? The downside is that the square in front of the hotel gets crowded with loud revelers at night, making sleep impossible until 4 a.m. Unless you’re guaranteed a rear room, you might want to skip booking.

The location and cleanliness were good. The reception lacked information about the breakfast location, and there was no 9 a.m. check‑out on the departure day to take advantage of the parking discount.

The place is in a good spot, but the hot water is only available if you pay extra. There’s no front desk or café on the premises, so you have to walk a few meters to another hotel of the same chain to get those services.

Breakfasts at Sercotel Alfonso VI, located next door, were great. The room assigned to me was too narrow, especially room 403.
