The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and they arranged a minibus from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to our accommodation on Koh Chang, about 850 m from the bus station. A 7‑Eleven is within walking distance, the accommodation is roughly 1.3 km from the old town, and there are several local restaurants nearby, though they close before 18:00. The stairs to the upper floor where the rooms are located are narrow with luggage, and the furniture is a bit dated, but that didn’t bother us.
