“We loveled staying at Kushu guest house.”

We loved staying at Kushu Guest House; it was the perfect place for my two teenage children and me on our first visit to Leh. The local family who run the place are lovely; they really looked after us. They cooked us a variety of healthy meals using largely homegrown vegetables from the well-kept garden. The location is perfect: amazing views of the mountains, only a few minutes' walk from the centre of town, but far enough out to be quiet. The rooms are nice and spacious; it is not up-market, but clean, functional and relaxed. If you want a small, safe, friendly, relaxed place to stay in Leh, it's hard to think you could do any better than Kushu Guest House. If I am fortunate enough to return one day, I will certainly want to stay there

The whole family Namgyal—father Skarma, sons Jigmet and Delden, and especially mother Dechen Chosto—were very friendly and always helpful. The room was large and well equipped. The bathroom was also large with good storage options. The property is big, with a wonderful garden where their own vegetables grow. After staying in several other guesthouses during my trip, I especially appreciated the time at Kushu Guest House.

We had an incredible stay at Kushu Guest House and it was the perfect place to spend acclimatising before our trek. The location is fantastic—15 minutes from the main market with views onto the mountains and a beautiful garden, spacious rooms with hot showers, and the most delicious breakfasts and dinners! Our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, bringing hot tea for my partner when he was unwell for a day. Many thanks for everything and we would love to come back.

The homestay had spotless rooms and snug beds, and the homemade meals were always ready whenever we asked for help. I loved the spot and its proximity to the market without the usual bustle, and the mornings offered pure serenity with clear mountain views.
